The Anand family has a long & successful history of catering which originates from Punjab,
North India. The family then migrated to East Africa. They came to the UK in 1975 & have been in the catering business ever since. Their first restaurant in the UK was The Brilliant, followed by
Madhu’s, which were both located in Middlesex. The Anand family brought their catering to Nottingham nearly 30 years ago & the Anand brothers, Sunny & Shelley, opened their own restaurant The
Opened in 2007. The Cumin is situated just a stone’s throw from the Market Square and The Nottingham Castle. The restaurant offers a true taste of North Indian and Punjabi Cuisine.
